Corlin had surgery today. He had tubes put in (his THIRD set, by the way) and his adnoids taken out. The doctor said his adnoids were huge and that he had a hard time getting them out, which is what probably caused all the past tubes to come out so quickly. So, here's hoping that our cute little red head will keep this last set of tubes for a while and be healthy from here on out!
He's doing well so far with recovery. He had to have one breathing treatment while still in recovery (before I could see him). The nurse said "he did great with it, has he done that before?" Yup, alburterol treatments with a nebulizer are a common thing in our house, unfortunately. But after that he was great. He had a popcicle and three suckers for breakfast at the surgical center, and then requested McDonalds Nuggets for lunch. He didn't have any problems eating or anything.
He's such a trooper, takes everything in stride and keeps on going. With his easy-going personality he's a dream patient for the nurses. They all loved him, as does everyone who meets him.
You did great, my tiger, I love you!
